Knowing your face shape is so important that your eyebrow grooming and blush application depends on it. Don't follow the eyebrow
grooming or blush application of your friends because it is possible that your facial structures differ.

A makeup will look so chic on your friend and you wonder why that same makeup doesn't suit you; it's because of the difference in face shapes.

Here are Five basic face shapes but not limited
to:

1. Oval

2. Round

3. Long

4. Square

5. Heart

**. OVAL: This seen as an ideal face structure because it is well balanced. It has a wide fore head and a well pronounced check bone.

Eyebrow structure:
When defining your eyebrow, it should have a soft arch; the arch shouldn't be high or too low
so that the face structure will be maintained.

Blush Solution:
An oval face has a high cheek bone and does not need much highlighting. Thus, with your blush brush or a fan brush; apply a very light blush on your bone so as to have a natural look.

**. ROUND: Round faces are well rounded. This face structure is exactly as they sound; the
width and the length are almost the same.

Eyebrow structure:
Round faces are very tricky and one needs to be very careful in order not to make a mess. When defining your eyebrow, it should have a high arch so that it will make the face appear slimmer or longer.

Blush solution:
Apply blush directly on your cheek bone and blend outward towards the temples in order to give a slim face appearance.

**. LONG: Long faces have a well defined
straight face from the forehead to the chin. This is a pretty face with some having prominent chin.

Eyebrow Structure:
People with long face should define their eyebrows without an arch (flat eyebrow). If the eyebrow definition carries an arch, it will give a longer face appearance. The flat eyebrow will make the face appear shorter and wider.

Blush Solution
Gently place your blush brush on the apple of your cheek and blend outwards toward the
temple.

**. SQUARE: A Square face has a bony and pronounced jawline. The forehead, cheekbones and jawline are almost the same width.

Eyebrow Structure:
You need to define a strong arched eyebrow so as to move the attention from the jawline to the eyebrow.

Blush Solution:
Apply blush directly to the apples of your cheeks so as to soften the angle of your face. And don't blend your blush too close to the temples for the last thing you want is a wider face.

**. HEART: Heart face has a well pronounced forehead with a pointy chin. Heart face has a splendid definition and has similar features
with a triangle face shape.

Eyebrow Structure:
When defining your brow, make sure that it is curved with a low arch and with more volume.

Blush Solution:
Blush should be applied right under the apple of your cheeks and blend upwards; towards the ear so that your chin will be softened.
